Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at P & D Automotive Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including inspections, testing, and adjustments. They will also be required to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, as well as provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including inspections, testing, and adjustments.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices as needed.
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Previous experience in the field of employment.
