Job Summary:

As an Automotive Service Installer at Canadian Tire, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation and maintenance of automotive parts and accessories. This includes performing lube, oil and filter changes, removing and installing tires, and performing minor repairs and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform lube, oil and filter changes
- Remove, install, rotate and balance tires, as well as perform repairs
- Perform minor repairs and inspections that do not require the presence of a licensed technician
- Maintain neatness/ cleanliness of bays through regular inspections
- Maintain professional appearance (uniform, hygiene, grooming & name tag)
- Follow company, store and department policies
- Follow shop health & safety program and observe provincial occupational health & safety regulations; report any observed or potential hazards immediately

Requirements and Competencies:

- Valid drivers license for province of employ
- Ability to provide professional customer service and employee support
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
- Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to complete tasks according to instructions and demonstrate responsibility for outcomes
- Organizational ability and attention to detail
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Basic math
