About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team at SM Services Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Minor Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance tasks on appliances, fixtures, and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Move Heavy Equipment: Safely move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to support our operations.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Carry out tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and other routine maintenance jobs to maintain the appearance and functionality of our properties.
  • Care for Grounds: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Clean and Disinfect: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Work Independently: Work with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Clear Snow and Ice: Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access to our properties.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks as part of your daily routine.
  • Physical Demands: Bend, crouch, and kneel as needed to complete tasks.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Hours of Work: 32 hours per week.
