Your Role as a Part-Time Professor

As a part-time professor, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic journey of our students. You'll create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that caters to individual needs and backgrounds. Your expertise and passion for teaching will inspire students to explore new ideas and develop critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that values diversity and fosters student engagement.
  • Implement Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to create accessible and inclusive learning experiences for all students.
  • Leverage educational technologies effectively to enhance teaching, facilitate communication, and manage student assessments.
  • Develop and deliver curriculum that aligns with program objectives and incorporates current industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to ensure a seamless learning experience for students.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who possess a strong commitment to student success.

  • Hold a relevant PhD degree.
  • Have a minimum of three years of recent and relevant work experience, with a preference for candidates who have experience in online teaching and course development.
  • Demonstrate proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level, with a deep understanding of UDL principles and current assessment methodologies.
  • Possess a passion for lifelong learning and a commitment to staying abreast of advancements in their field.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
