About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Policy Specialist to join our team at CMHC. As a key member of our policy team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of solutions to complex measurement questions related to housing policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of data and analytics tools to assess and forecast performance of investments in housing.
  • Develop comprehensive recommendations and guidance for senior management and the government on federal housing policy and program options, program performance, and outcomes.
  • Support decisions about housing policy in Canada through robust quantitative analysis and application of business intelligence.
  • Liaise and maintain strong relationships with CMHC's portfolio department, the Department of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities, on a wide variety of requests related to housing policy, results, and data sharing.
  • Support efficiency in day-to-day business of the sector and other partners through coordination.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in policy analysis, data analysis, and business intelligence. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
