About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at 0482597 B.C. Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Industrial Cleaning: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment to ensure a safe and functional environment.
  • Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Winter Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
