Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at 0482597 B.C. Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean environment.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Contractor Coordination: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Heavy Lifting and Moving: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work Environment: Work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Seasonal Tasks: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to maintain a safe and accessible environment.
