About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Support Manager to join our dynamic team at EMR Vacation Rentals. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations of our vacation rental properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Coordination: Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operational activities to ensure timely and efficient property readiness.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to manage property turnovers, inventory, and repairs.
  • Vendor Management: Assist with vendor management, including contracting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Guest Services: Support guest services by resolving operational issues quickly and effectively, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Reservation Management: Manage reservation booking and payment.
  • Accounting and Finance: Follow accounting month-end accounting tasks.
  • Property Management Software: Utilize and maintain property management software (PMS) to track work orders, maintenance tasks, and other operational duties.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain communication with property owners, ensuring they are updated on property conditions, maintenance needs, and operational improvements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all properties.
  • Operational Metrics and Process Improvement: Monitor operational metrics and suggest process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and service quality.
  • Staff Onboarding and Training: Assist in onboarding and training new operations staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in operations, property management, or a related field, preferably in the vacation rental or hospitality industry.
  • Organizational and Multitasking Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in property management software (PMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and other digital tools, including app tools.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and manage relationships with property owners and vendors.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance processes, and guest services in the vacation rental industry is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges with professionalism.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Experience in staff supervision and training is highly desirable.
