With a growing portfolio of properties across beautiful locations, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Support Manager to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:The Operations Support Manager will play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations of our vacation rental properties. This position involves coordinating and supporting various departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, guest services, and property management.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operational activities to ensure timely and efficient property readiness.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to manage property turnovers, inventory, and repairs.
- Assist with vendor management, including contracting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Support guest services by resolving operational issues quickly and effectively, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Reservation booking and payment.
- Follow accounting month end accounting tasks.
- Utilize and maintain property management software (PMS) to track work orders, maintenance tasks, and other operational duties.
- Maintain communication with property owners, ensuring they are updated on property conditions, maintenance needs, and operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all properties.
- Monitor operational metrics and suggest process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and service quality.
- Assist in onboarding and training new operations staff.
- Proven experience in operations, property management, or a related field, preferably in the vacation rental or hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and teams.
- Proficiency in property management software (PMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and other digital tools, including App tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and manage relationships with property owners and vendors.
- Knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance processes, and guest services in the vacation rental industry is a plus.
- Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges with professionalism.
- Experience in staff supervision and training is highly desirable.
This is a work-from-home position. Must have a reliable vehicle, mobile phone, reliable home computer/laptop, and strong home internet package.
