Food Service Manager

Join the Comfort Inn & Suites, Terrace team as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports on food costs, sales, and wastage to inform budgeting and decision-making.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
