Job Summary
Quails' Gate Winery is seeking a skilled and passionate cook to join our culinary team at Old Vines Restaurant. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our guests, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
About the Role
- You will work closely with our experienced chefs to prepare and cook a variety of dishes, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
- You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- You will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have a positive dining experience.
- You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working together to achieve our culinary goals.
Requirements
- Working on/Completed a formal chef training program
- Food Safe Certificate
- 2+ years of cooking experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment
- The flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work under pressure in an efficient and safe manner
