We are seeking a skilled Second Cook to join our team at Nubo Kitchen + Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to a high standard, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Staff Training: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient inventory management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
