Job Summary

NETZSCH Pumps & Systems Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences through prompt and efficient service, repair, and maintenance of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and observe mechanical conditions of equipment to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment, and perform on-site servicing and repair to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of our equipment, and offer direct customer service to address any concerns or issues.
  • Assist in the development of marketing programs for aftermarket promotions, and promote service contracts to increase revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Coordinate with the service team to determine parts needed to complete work orders, and order parts as required to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Review work orders to ensure that parts information is accurate and complete, and ensure that unused parts and/or cores are returned in a timely fashion using company guidelines and policies.
  • Perform start-up and commissioning of equipment, and maintain a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong background in mechanics and problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Proficiency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanics, with the ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using various computer, merchandising, and marketing tools.
