Role and Responsibilities

CAE, the global leader in aviation training, is seeking a highly skilled Full Time Maintenance Instructor to enhance our Commercial, Business, and Helicopter Aviation Maintenance Training Team.

This position requires global travel and involves working with a team dedicated to providing aircraft maintenance training on products manufactured by leading OEMs.

The successful candidate will have extensive aviation maintenance experience, technical training experience, and varied computer skills to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver aircraft system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment.
  • Develop, revise, and deliver training material and presentations using a range of software programs.
  • Provide training to customers at varied locations and manage and resolve a broad range of issues in an autonomous manner.
  • Work with a team to identify and support customers' needs and requests.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working on Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault, Citation, and H helicopters, or other Commercial or Business aircraft.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical or avionics aircraft systems related to area of responsibility.
  • Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously.
  • Working knowledge in a variety of basic computer software programs, including Windows Suite, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A current aviation authority industry license (TC, EASA, A&P, etc.) is preferred.
  • Prior instructional experience is an asset but not required.
