About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Instructor to join our team at Transat. As a key member of our Technical Training department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of Technical Operations training and the application of procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and deliver required documentation for training programs, including syllabuses, exams, presentations, and training manuals.
  • Provide technical, regulated training to Technical Operations personnel at all stations, including Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and health and safety training.
  • Act as a resource for Technical Operations personnel regarding general issues and remain current in company developments by collaborating and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Complete, submit, and record any administrative requirements for training documentation, including contracts, syllabuses, exams, and student attendance registers.

Requirements

  • Diploma of college studies (DCS) in aircraft maintenance.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Experience working with software logistics in a process-driven industry and exposure to regulatory compliance.
  • Bilingualism (French/English), oral and written.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
