Position Overview
Aramark is seeking a Bilingual (French-English) Permanent Part-Time Clinical Dietitian to join our dedicated team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing personalized nutrition care in a supportive environment. The position entails working 2 days a week, totaling 16 hours, with complimentary onsite parking available.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of the food services team, the Clinical Dietitian will:
- Evaluate and create tailored nutritional plans for residents, prioritizing their health and quality of life.
- Analyze menus and suggest modifications to meet dietary requirements, ensuring that diets are customized for specific health conditions.
- Collaborate with Food Services to uphold departmental and nutritional standards.
- Propose initiatives that enhance resident care and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about advancements in clinical dietetics through continuous education and professional publications.
- Maintain connections with relevant Dietetic organizations to support areas of responsibility.
- Operate within the department's budgetary limits.
- Work closely with Food Services staff to achieve overall departmental goals.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential.
- Availability for a permanent part-time schedule of 2 days per week (16 hours).
- A 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship Program.
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care, retirement homes, or senior living environments is preferred.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor is crucial when interacting with residents.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- The selected candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal Background Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
