Position Overview
Aramark is seeking a Bilingual (French-English) Permanent Part-Time Clinical Dietitian to join our dedicated team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional nutrition care in a supportive environment. The position entails working 2 days a week, totaling 16 hours, with complimentary onsite parking available.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of the food services team, the Clinical Dietitian is responsible for delivering personalized nutrition care aimed at enhancing the health and quality of life of all residents. Key duties include:
- Conducting assessments and formulating nutritional care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Reviewing and adjusting menus to align with dietary requirements and preferences.
- Collaborating with Food Services to uphold nutritional standards and departmental goals.
- Proposing innovative programs and services to elevate resident care and operational efficiency.
- Staying informed on the latest trends in clinical dietetics through continuous education and professional development.
- Maintaining effective communication with Dietetic organizations relevant to specific responsibilities.
- Adhering to budgetary guidelines while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Working closely with Food Services staff to achieve overall departmental objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both English and French is essential.
- Availability for a permanent part-time schedule of 2 days per week (16 hours).
- A 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship Program.
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
- Prior experience in long-term care, retirement homes, or senior living environments is preferred.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor is crucial when interacting with residents.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- The selected candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal Background Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
