Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2413061 Ontario INC. as a key member of our culinary operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Oversee the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to food service staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal stock levels.

Staff Management

Recruit, hire, and manage food service staff, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and customer service.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet the highest standards of quality control, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Financial Management

Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports, ensuring that culinary operations are financially sustainable.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for culinary operations improvement.

Reporting

Prepare and submit regular reports on culinary operations, highlighting areas of improvement and success.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical Demands

Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods, requiring physical stamina and endurance.
