Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at BG HOSPITALITY GROUP INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people
Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work in a team environment.
