Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Gino's Pizza 181 is seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and team members.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to our team members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, and initiative.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

35 hours per week.
