Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in our food service area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the food service area.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
  • Electronic Cash Register: Experience with electronic cash registers.
  • Food Dispensers: Experience with food dispensers.
  • Grill: Experience with grills.
Weight Handling:
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs): Ability to lift and carry up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
