Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server to join our team at Jukai Japanese & Thai. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Present bills to customers and accept payment in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs, such as dietary restrictions or mobility issues.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure their needs are met.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity.
    • Be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, such as trays and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food and beverage service role.
  • Physical Demands
    • Be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Availability
    • Be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
