Job Title: Registered Psychologist Position Available

Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Psychologist to join our team at Seagram & Associates and Landing Strong. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mental health services to clients, including individual, couples, and family therapy. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a related field, and be registered or candidate registered with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing evidence-based, trauma-informed mental health services to clients
  • Creating and maintaining patient records and required reports in a timely manner
  • Working collaboratively with a clinical supervisor to develop case formulations, identify treatment goals, and support client progress in meeting these goals

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a related field
  • Registered or candidate registered with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults, individually, couples, or families
  • Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and inter-professional teamwork skills
  • Current professional liability insurance
  • Experience with operating a computer and some ability with MS office
