About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Metal Fitter Supervisor to join our team at SAT Metal Fabrication Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and fabrication of metal structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and Manage Resources: Ensure accurate estimates of costs and materials required for projects.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide on-the-job training and arrange for additional training as needed to ensure team members have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate and Schedule Activities: Oversee the coordination and scheduling of activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supervise Workers and Projects: Supervise a team of 5-10 workers and oversee the completion of projects.
  • Requisition and Order Materials: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project requirements.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The typical work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
