Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Metal Fitter Supervisor to join our team at SAT Metal Fabrication Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our metal fabrication department, ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for metal fabrication projects
  • Train or arrange for training of metal fabrication team members
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the workplace
  • Oversee the operation of the metal fabrication department, including supervising workers and projects
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in metal fabrication, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a noisy metal fabrication shop environment, with a fast-paced work setting that includes assembly, construction, fabrication, installation, and shopwork.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
