Your role and contributions:

You will be responsible for various tasks associated with the development, testing, certification, production, and in-service support of Avionics Systems for state-of-the-art business aircraft.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and managing overall systems and subsystems requirements to ensure compliance with safety, certification, and aircraft design objectives.
  • Collaborating with system suppliers and interfacing disciplines to ensure smooth integration of systems on the aircraft.
  • Overseeing the timely integration of systems such as AFCS, Communication (VHF, HF, SATCOM, Datalink), Navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, Transponder, IRS, GPS, FMS, Weather Radar), Displays (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), and Cabin connectivity.
  • Conducting and supporting ARP4754 system and aircraft verification and validation processes.
  • Managing, reviewing, and approving deliverables from Avionics System Suppliers.
  • Providing support for the Final Assembly Line and addressing design-related issues for in-service aircraft.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of software for crew alerting logic and aircraft-level function automation.

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • A university degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in stress engineering.
  • Compliance with US ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements, necessitating U.S. citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency (Green Card Holder).
  • Familiarity with the specification, design, integration, testing, and certification of Avionics systems on aircraft.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as DO-178, DO-160, DO-254, and ARP4754.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, structured work planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
