As a key member of our team, you will:
• Collaborate with Operations, Methods, Quality, and Flight Operations to address Global 5500/6500/7500 aircraft system challenges during completion activities, ground runs, flight testing, and delivery to the end customer.
• Develop troubleshooting procedures and address nonconformance reports related to aircraft systems (including avionics, electrical, fuel, pneumatic, and/or hydromechanical).
• Ensure compliance with all system requirements while minimizing downtime.
• Work alongside Final Assembly Line (FAL), Integration, and Supplier Engineering teams to resolve broader challenges.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for any system engineering issues during production.
• Primarily work day shifts, with the possibility of alternate shifts to meet business needs.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering, along with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Systems Engineering (including avionics, electrical, fuel, pneumatic, and/or hydromechanical).
- Experience with the Material Review Board (MRB), addressing nonconformances, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of specification, design, integration, testing, and certification of aircraft systems.
- An understanding of how aircraft systems integrate and interact within the overall aircraft framework.
- Experience with the Global 7500 and/or Global Express/5000/55000/6000/6500.
- A collaborative spirit, thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective prioritization skills.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a significant advantage.
