Global Transaction Banking Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Transaction Banking Officer to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and driving a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Verify and process wire payment instructions in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with bank procedures and regulations.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to payment formatting, errors, or inconsistencies, and participate in establishing best practices to improve customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to process improvements and quality control initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage daily workflows, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with team members to expedite payment execution.
- Develop and implement strategies to build a high-performance environment, foster an inclusive work culture, and promote employee growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Working knowledge of bank operating and administrative processes to resolve day-to-day problems.
- Strong understanding of payment rules and regulations governing international and domestic wire payments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
