Key Responsibilities:

The main duty of this role is to ensure effective delivery of designated courses within the Paralegal program. This involves employing a range of instructional strategies, methodologies, and delivery techniques to accommodate the diverse learning preferences of students, all within a respectful and secure educational environment. Instructors are tasked with teaching assigned courses in alignment with established course competencies, maintaining daily attendance records, and grading assessments as necessary.

The instructor will uphold the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while fostering a positive, supportive, and student-centered team atmosphere characterized by respect, integrity, commitment, and readiness, while also promoting diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed Paralegal or Lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant practical experience is required.
  • Experience in small claims court, contract law, and/or employment law is preferred.
  • Proficiency in various legal software applications, including Clio, is essential.
  • Prior teaching experience is mandatory.
  • Strong professionalism along with intermediate skills in MS Office, excellent communication, and organizational abilities are crucial for success in this position.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position with working hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
