Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Project Lead for the Come to Work Program Transition who is enthusiastic about building accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada. This role is pivotal in ensuring that individuals with low vision have the opportunity to engage fully in society.

Your Contributions:
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead to monitor project performance against key indicators during the project's final year.
  • Document essential knowledge, processes, and resources related to project execution.
  • Collect data, testimonials, and visual materials that showcase the achievements of the Come to Work Project.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports as required by governmental bodies.
  • Maintain accurate records of project expenses and supporting documentation throughout the project duration.
  • Work with the Philanthropy team to identify and evaluate future funding prospects for the Come to Work Program.
  • Assist in establishing and nurturing relationships with potential funders under the guidance of the Executive Director.

Who You Are:
Education:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in project management or coordination.
  • Experience in the non-profit or public sector is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Proficient in producing reports and documentation.
  • Experience with government project reporting is beneficial.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and accessibility issues.
  • Personal or professional experience related to blindness or sight loss is an asset.
  • Experience with assistive technology or accessible environments is a plus.

Work Environment:
