Job Title: Specialist Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Chef to join our team at Classic Indian Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and specialty foods for events and regular customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and regular customers.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependability, organized, and a team player.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a busy and dynamic environment where you will be working with a team to provide excellent customer service and high-quality food. You will be required to work in a hot and noisy environment, and be able to lift heavy loads.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in our restaurant, and you will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.Work Hours:

35 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
