About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier at Cottonwood Esso. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Handle customer payments, issue receipts, and maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean the Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping the floor, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Ensure that all customers have paid for their merchandise before leaving the store and maintain a high level of security at all times.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience.
