Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at SHREEJI COCHRANE INC. as a key member of our kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that all equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitized.
  • Team Management: Recruit and hire staff, as needed, to ensure that the kitchen is adequately staffed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires attention to detail.

  • Dependability: Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
