Job Summary

Acuity Brands is seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales leader to join our team as the Regional Vice President of C&I Sales, Canada. This key role will be responsible for leading the Canadian sales team, developing and executing strategies to achieve maximum sales volume, and driving growth through the development of innovative new products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that capitalize on the strength of our product portfolio and the Canadian sales force.
  • Establish market and target customer strategies in conjunction with the Sales Leadership team.
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop strategies for increasing penetration within our addressable market.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire the sales and agency teams to achieve sales goals and initiatives.
  • Manage the overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales pipeline management and utilizing available enterprise tools to improve processes and increase sales force effectiveness.
  • Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and development of the sales organization.
  • Implement company promotions and marketing initiatives through the network to achieve goals for the Canadian distribution network.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in the lighting/electrical industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as SalesForce.
  • Thoroughly analyze problems, making and defending decisions that are well supported by data.
Travel Requirements
  • Travel requirement will vary from 30 – 60%.
