Event Planning Specialist

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Administer revenues and expenditures
* Promote conference and meeting services or special events
* Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
* Prepare, present, and manage budgets
* Determine requirements for hospitality services, signage, multi-media equipment, printing, and other technical services
* Arrange for and manage contracts for these services
* Coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities
* Attend to related details
* Coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events
**Requirements:**
* Education: College/CEGEP
* Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
* Work Language: English
* Hours: 30 hours per week
