Brandt is seeking a talented Design Engineer - Tillage to join our team in Regina. This role focuses on designing and manufacturing innovative heavy equipment solutions that enhance customer efficiency and productivity.

As a Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing new equipment and continuously improving existing products. Your expertise will encompass mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring designs are both functional and efficient. You'll utilize 3D CAD software to create detailed models and collaborate with other engineers to bring innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities
  • Develop projects and products using 3D CAD software.
  • Utilize 2D CAD and other tools to design comprehensive system layouts.
  • Prioritize Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Serviceability, Reliability, Affordability, and other key factors.
  • Produce high-quality engineering deliverables that meet strict quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Conduct field research as needed, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong engineering background and a passion for innovation.

  • Professional Engineer or Technologist designation with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in machine design and proficiency in 3D CAD systems, particularly Solidworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise technical communication.
  • Experience in the agricultural industry is a valuable asset.
  • Proven ability to design welded and bolted fabricated assemblies.
  • Solid understanding of material science principles for steel and aluminum.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong work ethic and a dedication to exceeding expectations.
