Registered Nurse Case Coordinator

Position Overview
The Government of Nunavut is seeking a dedicated RN Case Manager to oversee and facilitate case management functions for a diverse clientele. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective coordination of care among various health service providers within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to manage multiple client cases and referrals.
- Ensure timely access to healthcare services and maintain effective communication with clients and providers.
- Evaluate complex case management scenarios to enhance patient care quality and satisfaction.
- Maintain a high standard of service delivery while managing costs effectively.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s or Diploma in Nursing.
- A minimum of three years of recent experience in an acute care environment.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Eligibility for registration with RNANTNU.
Additional Information
This position requires a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check. Fluency in multiple official languages of Nunavut is an asset, along with knowledge of Inuit culture and experience in a cross-cultural setting.
