Position Overview:
Our client, a leader in the custom mechanical design and fabrication industry, is in search of a skilled Financial Operations Coordinator. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial activities and ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a dedicated team of 5 professionals, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll.
- Conduct monthly financial reporting and comprehensive analysis.
- Prepare and submit bank compliance reports.
- Oversee the remittance of income and excise taxes.
- Handle weekly cash management and maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
- Supervise the Project Cost Accountant and ensure accurate reporting on projects that are not meeting financial expectations.
- Monitor bank activities and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Act as the administrator for online banking systems, responsible for processing payments, including wires, EFTs, and cheque signing authority.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of project accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Jonas Construction Software and advanced Excel skills.
