About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Quality Concrete Cutting & Coring Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill and Finish Concrete Surfaces: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate Power Equipment: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level and Finish Concrete: Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure a precise finish.
  • Install Fixtures and Components: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to complete the concrete structure.
  • Apply Finishing Touches: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Repair and Maintain Concrete: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
  • Read and Interpret Plans: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
