Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

Canguard Building Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that cleaning staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning operations are integrated with other facility management activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a cleaning or maintenance environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cleaning staff, other departments, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
