The Learning Advisor Lead is a critical role within the Internal Audit organization, responsible for driving the development of learning and development initiatives that support the organization's strategic priorities. This role requires a deep understanding of the learning and development needs of the organization and the ability to design and implement targeted learning solutions that address those needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic priorities.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify learning gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and deliver high-quality learning programs that meet the needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that learning initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.
- 6-10 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of risk and controls, including the audit function.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently and operate with high standards within tight timeframes.
- Strong ability to advise and consult with all levels of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Highly adaptable and positive about change and ambiguity.
- Strong experience in a related role with extensive experience in business, functional, and people management.
- Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues, and strength in sustaining independent views.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal audit and senior management.
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
