Residential Collector

At 09 Irving Oil Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Residential Collector to join our team. As a Residential Collector, you will play a critical role in identifying and managing credit risk for residential accounts within a specific portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage customer repayment plans and accept/process payments.
- Contact customers via telephone, email, and fax to discuss repayment options.
- Account Maintenance (as required).
- Prepare accounts for placement with 3rd party collections – legal or agency.
- Identify and manage risk within collection portfolio.
- Prioritize calls based on objective criteria.
- Will participate in projects and other team initiatives as required.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience with collections is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of MS applications: Word and Excel especially.
- Sales experience an asset.
- Professional credit designation such as CCP (Certified Credit Professional) an asset.
- Bilingualism an asset: French and English.
