Role Overview
As a Senior Technical Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in delivering advanced onsite and remote technical assistance to a select group of high-profile executive users with specialized IT support needs. Senior Technical Support Specialists are experienced IT generalists with comprehensive knowledge across the full range of IT support, including hardware, software, networking, mobile connectivity, messaging, conferencing, and managing diverse vendor BYOD environments. Your primary duty will be to ensure uninterrupted end-to-end support for our clients' essential desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, mobile devices, and related peripherals.
In this capacity, you will serve as a crucial link between our entire technology team and executive clients, acting as a technical intermediary. You will be responsible for engaging with clients, interpreting their requirements, proposing optimal solutions, and ensuring resolution through collaboration with business partners. Your ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships is vital for success in this position. Your diverse technical expertise must be complemented by high levels of self-awareness, professionalism, relationship management, collaboration, and communication.

Compensation for this position is competitive, with additional on-call compensation available.
- Operates independently to provide on-site and remote technical support to VIP clients.
- Addresses technical issues over the phone directly from VIP clients or through calls transferred from the Technical Service Desk, employing advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Installs and configures various computer hardware and software, communication tools, and peripheral devices according to established processes.
- Creates, receives, reviews, completes, and escalates service requests as necessary.
- Independently evaluates and modifies technical solutions based on specific client issues.
- Activities are diverse and require independent judgment to determine the most suitable resolution approach.
- Provides preliminary or routine guidance to clients regarding systems, applications, and protocols.
- Notifies management of current or potential issues with systems, applications, or customer service requirements.
Offers feedback to management on processes and procedures, current or potential issues with client systems and applications, and customer service matters.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years' experience in desktop/software support and hardware (break/fix).
- Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Domains and Active Directory.
- Experience in mobile device configuration and deployment, including Apple iOS and Android.
- Experience in printer support, Office 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems (such as ServiceNow).
- Must possess a valid Driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
On-call work is required (including evenings and weekends).
