Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Specialist to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing asset management strategies, managing infrastructure projects, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of asset management strategies, levels of service, and risk assessments.
  • Assist in the development of 10-25 year capital plans and define function requirements for asset management data systems.
  • Project manage and implement asset programs, including rehabilitation and replacement planning, inspections, data collection, and analysis.
  • Conduct infrastructure and special studies to determine infrastructure upgrade and replacement needs.
  • Consolidate data and information from service areas into corporate Asset Management templates and plans.
  • Develop asset management strategies and system design for asset management programming.
  • Review asset data information for quality assurance and identify improvement areas.
  • Develop and implement processes for data integrity and work closely with corporate stakeholders to develop standardized asset data processes.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in all aspects of infrastructure asset management services.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals for asset management services.
Requirements
  • A degree in engineering.
  • Eligible for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
  • Certificate in asset management (IAM, NAMS, or PEMAC) preferred.
  • Valid Ontario Class "G" driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of relational databases and computerized applications related to asset management.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of infrastructure asset data management systems.
  • Familiarity with operational, engineering, and financial processes at the municipal, provincial, and federal government level.
  • Experience in capital planning and financial management.
  • Demonstrated working experience with Ontario Regulation 588/17.
