Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jun's Bakery. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our bakery staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports as required, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or bakery environment
  • Work Setting: Bakery
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability
