This role is essential in providing specialized and confidential assistance to the Legal unit, under the guidance of the ORS Legal Advisor. The Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the strategic objectives of Research and Innovation by ensuring high-quality management of research contracts and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Management: Oversee the maintenance of the contract document management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements regarding retention and confidentiality.
- Documentation Tracking: Monitor and document changes in legal agreements using a systematic review tracker to maintain accurate records.
- File Administration: Manage the preparation and quality assurance of Research Services contract files, including budget reviews and necessary certifications.
- Archival Oversight: Handle the processing of executed agreements and amendments, ensuring proper archival management of research contracts.
- System Administration: Facilitate contract management within the ROMEO enterprise management system, serving as the primary contact for support related to research contracts.
- Researcher Guidance: Provide assistance to researchers on the submission of forms within the ROMEO system.
- Completion of a diploma in Business or Office Administration, with a minimum of three years of experience in contract support or administration.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong judgment in managing confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A university degree.
- Experience working in a university setting.
