Key Responsibilities:- Project Development: Develop project artifacts in accordance with Treasury Board guidelines, including project charters, project management plans, and other relevant documents.
- Project Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate project management activities, including financial, planning, and contracting aspects.
- Project Management Office: Establish and organize a project management office to ensure effective project delivery.
- Progress Reporting: Provide regular briefings to senior leadership on project progress and concerns.
- Documentation and Reporting: Coordinate and prepare documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns, and observations to update management on project progress.
- Team Management: Plan and coordinate the activities of project personnel, internal customers, contractors, and other support providers.
- Work Breakdown Structure: Develop and maintain a formal work breakdown structure and identify project roles and responsibilities.
- Project Planning: Produce draft plans and sections for incorporation into the project management plan.
- Deliverable Management: Develop, plan, analyze, evaluate, and prioritize deliverables and requirements through project schedule and milestone creation.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Determine and obtain budgetary requirements, composition, and terms of reference for the team.
- Project Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor the design, implementation, and operations startup of the project against established goals, objectives, and milestones.
- Progress Updates: Report project progress on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with stakeholders and other project managers to identify and resolve problems.
