Job Title: Industrial Supplies Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Supplies Sales Representative to join our team at P.D. McLaren Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and assessing client needs to recommend the appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services
  • Deliver sales presentations and negotiate contracts
  • Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries
  • Conduct sales transactions and prepare sales contracts
  • Use sales forecasting software to analyze market trends and customer needs
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and resolve any issues
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the industrial supplies industry
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college or CEGEP certificate an asset
