Job Title: Industrial Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Industrial Sales Representative to join our team at P.D. McLaren Limited. As an Industrial Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and assessing client needs to recommend the appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services
  • Deliver sales presentations and negotiate contracts
  • Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries
  • Conduct sales transactions and prepare sales contracts
  • Use sales forecasting software to analyze market trends and customer needs
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and resolve any issues
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
