Production Shift Supervisor

As a Production Shift Supervisor at Ash Grove Cement, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cement manufacturing process. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing production activities, supervising production personnel, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee production operations to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
- Supervise production personnel to ensure they are working in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing all company safety guidelines and regulations.
- Ensure environmental guidelines are followed to minimize the plant's environmental impact.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company quality standards.
- Support and enforce the requirements of the facility's Port Security plan.
- Report and follow up on incidents to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Organize payroll information and vacation schedules for production personnel.
- Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
- Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, and signs.
- Minimum of a College Diploma in Engineering or Mechanical Millwright Trade Apprenticeship.
- University Degree in Engineering with a strong technical background preferred.
- Experience working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
